The Eastern Orthodoxy tradition of Christianity is present as a minor denomination in the Taiwan. The Orthodox church was first established in 2003 when it registered with the government. The bishop of the church is Father Liang. The establishment of the Orthodox Church was supported by sister churches in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
